Recycling Drop-Off This Weekend

Hello Creekside neighbors! This is a reminder that there is a recycling drop-off location in your community THIS weekend! Please come down and see us at Chalmers and Jefferson from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

If it is your first time, just grab a magazine or milk jug and come get a tour. Recycling is a fun, positive, and easy way that you can impact your community, the city, and the planet! Make it your new family project! Come by, ask for Lauren, and get a quick lesson and a tip sheet so you know how to get started. Recycling is an important step in personal responsibility and community health. Take a few minutes out of your day to learn how to do something positive for yourself!

Don, thanks for your concern. You are absolutely right that the creeks in our neighborhood are unclean and in unsatisfactory conditions. It would be great to vocalize our concerns in some sort of public forum and push for a clean-up. Any ideas on where to start?

Green spaces are nice, but we’re ignoring the “creek” in Creekside! The City is no longer “flushing” the Ashland canal and it is fast becoming a cesspool of floating cans, wrappers and cartons. Better come up with a better name for our community soon…..
